40 merit scholarships for outstanding abstracts
ICBEOS 2027 will offer registration support to 40 presenting authors (20 Indian and 20 International) selected on the basis of the peer-reviewed merit of their abstracts. Selection is not based on submission order or the first 20 abstracts received.
Each eligible abstract will be assessed through peer review using a defined merit framework. The evaluation will consider scientific rigor, originality of the idea or approach, clarity of the research problem and objectives, methodological soundness, strength or potential significance of the findings, relevance to the selected ICBEOS theme, contribution to blue economy and ocean sustainability domains, and the potential scientific, technological, environmental or societal impact of the work. The final 40 awardees will be selected on overall peer-reviewed merit; appropriate thematic balance may be considered where abstracts are otherwise comparably ranked.

What is included in the ICBEOS 2027 registration fee?
The ICBEOS 2027 registration fee covers complete delegate privileges, including:
- Full Conference Access: Unrestricted admission to all 6 technical theme sessions, keynote lectures, plenary sessions, panel discussions, and poster exhibitions.
- Complimentary Hospitality: Morning Breakfast, grand buffet Lunch, and High Tea & Coffee refreshments on both conference days (26–27 February 2027).
- Official Delegate Kit: Conference bag, printed souvenir and abstract compendium, delegate ID badge with lanyard, notepad, and pen.
- Official Certification: Certificate of Participation / Paper Presentation issued under the auspices of IIT Kharagpur.
Is accommodation provided with the registration?
No, accommodation is not provided as part of the conference registration fee. All delegates and presenting authors are requested to make their own lodging arrangements.

What meals and refreshments are served during the conference?
Complimentary catering is provided on both conference days (26 and 27 February 2027) at the venue:
- Morning Breakfast: Served during morning registration (8:30 AM – 9:30 AM).
- Working Buffet Lunch: Multi-cuisine luncheon served at the Research Park dining hall.
- High Tea & Coffee: Served during mid-morning and afternoon networking intervals.
Does the registration permit access to all conference tracks and programs?
Yes. Your registration pass gives you all-inclusive access to every session under the ICBEOS 2027 conference, including all 6 technical parallel tracks, interdisciplinary plenary lectures, industry-academia sessions, technical workshops, and the valedictory award ceremony.
How can students apply for the 20 Merit Scholarships?
All presenting authors who submit an abstract between 1 September and 15 November 2026 are automatically evaluated for the 20 Merit Scholarships. Awards are granted strictly on the basis of peer-reviewed abstract merit scores (₹1,000 discount for Indian students; USD 150 discount for International students).

IIT Kharagpur CEP ERP Enrollment & Fee Payment
Complete your official enrollment and secure online fee payment through the IIT Kharagpur Continuing Education Programme (CEP) ERP Portal.
How to Complete CEP Enrollment in 4 Steps:
Sign Up or Login
Open the CEP portal. If you are a new applicant, click the yellow Sign Up button at the top right, enter your Email, Password & DOB. If already registered, click Login.
Locate Conference
In the left search bar under "Programme Name/ID", type Blue Economy or paste IIT/CEP/CON/CON/2026-2027/AG/117 and click search (or press Ctrl+F).
Click "Apply Now"
Click Apply Now on the ICBEOS 2027 card. Select your Applicant Category & fee slab, enter Paper ID (or enter NaN if non-author attendee), attach ID proof, and click Next.
Online Fee Payment
Proceed to payment through the integrated SBI online gateway (Net Banking, UPI, Cards). Download and keep your Application PDF and Payment Receipt for conference check-in.
Call for Abstracts & Manuscripts
Are you submitting a research paper or abstract? Authors must select one of the six conference themes and submit their abstract through the approved portal between 1 September and 15 November 2026. Abstract acceptance notifications will be issued on 25 November 2026, and full papers will be due on 15 December 2026.
Publication Details — Coming Soon
Selected peer-reviewed full papers may be considered for inclusion in conference proceedings or associated publication opportunities, subject to editorial review, formal publisher approval and applicable publication requirements.
